Sabers are an essential part of the Saber Fit experience. Sabers are composed two main parts. The hilt and the blade.

The Hilt- This is composed a range of materials, usually metal though sometimes plastic. Within it are the LED Module switch and battery and occasionally sound boards. The Blade slides into the hilt and is kept in place with a retaining screw.  The LED Module is compoased of an LED, heat sink and lens.

The Blade- The blade is made of a polycarbonate tube lined wth cellophane or foam which acts as a primary light diffuser. At the end of the blade is a tip (bullet shaped or rounded). This fits into the hilt where it is secured with a set screw. Blades range in length based on size and preference. There are a few different blade options out there. They are usually 1" in outer diameter(OD).

At Seattle Saber fit, we encourage everyone to in time to learn to craft and maintain their own saber. However we do recognize that due to life, it can just be easier to order one sometimes. On the left are some links to saber sellers and builders.

Seattle Saber custom sabers occasionally does small runs of sabers on request. Naigon's Electornic Creations makes the Spark, Spark Color and Igniter sound boards (our preferred soundboards). The Custom saber shop is a DIY saber building site. Vaders Vault, Saber Forge and Ultra Sabers all do full install and saber builds.
